Yountville

Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity will be partnering again with the Home Depot Foundation for the 2022 Yountville Veterans Home Beautification Project. This will be the 4th year of this project and we are so excited about providing the well deserving Veterans with many new shade structures, walking paths, BBQ areas, gardens and much more that add to their quality of living.

This event will be held at that Yountville Memorial Veterans Home in Yountville at 260 California Drive, and we are looking for 60 Team Leaders. The dates will be Tuesday, June 21st (Mandatory Training Day) and Wednesday, June 22nd (Project Day). The training day will be held at the Yountville Veterans Home on Tuesday, June 21st at 8:00 a.m. and will end at approximately 3:00 p.m., attendance on this date is MANDATORY for those participating in this project. The actual build day will be Wednesday, June 22nd and we will begin at 6:00 a.m. and will end at approximately 4:00 p.m.

NOTE: **You must be signed up for this event to attend. Anyone not on the list will not be allowed to attend** **Proof of COVID Vaccination required to participate in this event**

Fourth of July Parade

Come carry a flag, the banner or give out flags to the crowd.
680 North or South exit El Cerro West. Danville Blvd only right turn allowed. Left on Del Amigo to left on Verona to left on Love Lane to high school parking lot under the solar panels.

PARADE START 0900 MUSTER 0800.

VNVDV white colored jersey shirt, dark slacks or shorts, white VNVDV cap.

Flags to hand out to spectators will be distributed.

Veterans' Voices of Contra Costa County

A Live, Interactive TV Show for Vets by Vets!
Join us live on the SECOND MONDAY of every month to
discuss relevant issues facing our veterans.
They are also looking for:
1. Shadowboxes to have on the set of the show during a live taping
2. Veterans who are interested in participating in our new segment titled
"A Veterans' Voice" which is a 5 – 10 minute open forum discussing anything that is important to the Veteran.

The Monthly General Meetings are held at the
Crow Canyon Country Club (CCCC)
Directions are E/B Crow Canyon Road from I680
Left at El Capitan (first turn after Alcosta)
Right turn into the Country Club Complex.
Use the "Visitors" lane on the right and tell Security if they stop you that you are going to the Country Club Conference Center.

Cost of dinner per person is $25.00 - that includes tax and gratuity.
Cash and Checks preferred - Credit Cards accepted
Reservations not usually required
